Well, they're hardcore gamers. They obviously want to clear the game and get out so they can go back to their streams. You hate on a lot of anime tbh. This one is actually pretty good, considering it's from Funmation.
A kidnapping's a kidnapping. They wouldn't act like that. In the real world if they get you in they're car you're done. Should be survival horror, not a bunch of jackasses acting tough for each other. Should be more jigsaw and less angsty teenagers. Alot, as in three? I only ask that they dress and act in a way you would if you were really there. It's lazy writing making them this way.
Well if you were mixing up the situation between of the fictional character and real world ppl or real life(anyhow you take it) then you pretty messed up with your logic there. Not everyone have the same personality or thinking or problem solving toward the situation they were into. You can say "In the real world if they get you in they're car you're done" thingy to ppl who doesn't quite understand or experienced enough to make them believe what you were saying.
Bcs this is just some fictional character trying to figure out how to get out from situation that have got them into. Not a Real person who are reacting the same as these characters.Because you can say "In the real world if they get you in they're car you're done" to the ppl who not really quite understand or experienced enough for them to believe in what are you saying.
It is just the same thing if you saying things like "If you encounter robber who hold knife, you're dead".Because you need to understand that no one have the same angle of perspective of the situation where you call "kidnapping". Yes, there is some bunch of group ppl who have the same perspective where they aggreeing with each other that "you get abducted, you're done".
But did you know that, are they take the same action to really go against the kidnapping situation? Like discussing how to reduce the crime. And did you ever saw or heard about someone countered the kidnapping situation? Like why you have to make yourself get kidnapped when you can avoid it in the first place?
Also if you still want to stand out your point by making imaginary situation, like they got you pass out first with handkerchief that have substance that can make you pass out(tbh i don't remember the name of the substance is but it is appear that is one of the way how the kidnapping works) then you need to know that "prevention is better than cure". Figure out the problem first rather than suffer later.
The robber isn't the same same as a kidnapper getting you in his car. The whole point of a robber pulling a knife is to steal from you. The kidnapper gets you into his car to rape and murder you. Ransom is what they do in the movies. The walking dead isn't real, but they act like how real people would. Saying it's fiction doesn't take away from the fact that they have to act like real people would.
Well you can say the robber and the kidnapper is not the same method of crime, but it's still ends up with murder. Also your point saying "The whole point of a robber pulling a knife is to steal from you." is really not false but still wrong. If you were thinking the whole point of robber pulling out the knife just to steal something, they just can bring a few men and just beat out of you to just to steal.
And if the robber going solo,he will bring knife just to steal and kill you in the end just to erase the evidence. Also you might say "not everyone have the same method of robbering", It's not really an excuse to ignore what the most robber will do to you in the end.Because if you believe the whole concept of robber pulling out the knife just to steal, then you might mentioning the minority of the robber would do or A.K.A a coward robber.
And i'm saying it is a Fiction bcs it does not necessarilly that the char have to act how the real ppl would act. It was called "Fiction" for a reason. It's not have any resemblance with real ppl or how do they act. It's just an imaginary situation, background and story. They used the same concept as the real life but different method of using it. As much it is a nonsense story,it is still a "Fiction" or "Fantasy" which mean ridiculous thing will always happen.
There should be a feeling of dread. They should be asking, "Where am I? Am I going to be okay? Is that guy going to hurt me? Why do I have to play games? Am I going to have to hurt someone? Will I get hurt?" I don't feel anything here. I don't feel nervous for them. I also don't feel any connection to the characters. Take Shield Hero, you instantly feel what he's feeling. You have an instant connection with him, and a compelling story.
The things that make shield a good well written story, simply aren't here. It just isn't very well thought out. If you want a good game anime watch no game no life. It's both funny and has likeable characters. The movie is good as well.
I'd honestly probably react how they did. I don't really get scared or upset very easily, and I don't really care if I get hurt or others do. That's just how I am. The characters were also told they'd been accepted to play a game and they couldn't give away the chance nor decline it. Sure, they were surprised and obviously kind of nervous when the joined, but everyone has different personalities. Including yourself. You also could've kept your speech in one comment box. ^-^
