So far I like the setting, gonna give it a couple more episodes to see where it leads. Most fantasy anime suffer if they don't have an interesting theme that would drive the story forward.

u/Sunny649 · 2 months ago
At this point not exactly able to tell what and how exactly...but one thing for sure is that liquid Kufa made Melida drink... But I'm personally completely lost at why he put it in his and then in hers...

what a fucked up mc personality, man's job is to protect his waifu not murder her you dumb fuck, but still I will watch it coz doing things half assed isn't in my blood

He's an assassin? Did you watch the part where he was told to find out if she had mana, and if not to assassinate her?

Rushing through those first manga chapters, holy hell. Though probably the best choice, since there's no strong logic in this professional assassin's choice to risk his life supporting this girl instead of doing his job.
They also casually skipped over the ero scenes to awaken her mana, dang x) Maybe next week, but I doubt it's going to be much.
The setting of the world is really cool, though, and the fight scenes are interesting to watch at least.

I just got a question, if she already found out he's a assassin what is there after in the story ???

It's sorta like looking at a high school anime from the perspective of an adult that knows the big reveal at the end of it. That if she doesn't exceed or live as people wish her to do so, he'll be forced to kill her. Like her point of view, she got a potion that means she can do Mana and things will go her way now, she can just live the same as the other girls. But outside of it, there's a single trip up and she's a goner. A weird new take on it I suppose.

Hold on is the voice actor for the blonde female, the same voice actor as it for Asuna????

any idea on how she awaken her Mana?
is it because of that yellow liquid or?
u/Lizelotte · 2 months ago
yes, they explained it in manga, but idk in anime, probs they will soon..

if only, they follow the original story. cus in this first episode, they did rush the story even its a little bit
